Hi! My husband and I would like to invite you to our home in Waynesville, MO. We have a large basement and will have some beds available. We will also provide meals. Frank is a retired Marine, and we live 15 minutes away from an Army base. Their museum is excellent! And free. There are many neat photo opportunities on the base with tanks, giant anchors from naval ships, helicopters. We have free pools and splash parks, and I can take you to the commissary to load up on inexpensive groceries. If you are interested we can arrange for a field trip to one of the Marine schools here, we are hoping to take your children to the Motor Transport school and get them in a 7 ton truck or maybe the Hummers. How does that sound? Oh by the way, I am a MOMYS too, I just havent changed to posting yet. Looking forward to your reply!

Thanks SO much Riveras!! What a generous offer and we’d LOVE to meet you. We’re working on our itinerary now, so we’re just figuring out where we’re going, but we’ll be in touch once we have a general idea. The children would LOVE that museum and getting to see a real Army base would make more than one boy pretty happy!!
We have a large back yard that you are welcome to use if we are not too far off your route. It is starting to cool off by September, but that may be good not bad. I’m sure we can help with meals too. We are NW of Chicago in McHenry, IL.
