  • Melissa Robinson (Hakala) says:

Lois…I think your plans are awesome…I hope you come to California I would love to offer ALL of you a place to stay and meet your cute little…I mean big family. And since we are in California and close to SF you guys could walk the Golden Gate Bridge or visit the Jelly Belly Factory (lol)…I know not exactly a National site but it is a fun place for kids to visit and it’s free!

    • Lois says:

Melissa, we are DEFINITELY coming to CA! Our plan at this time is to go to Sacramento, not sure if we’ll make it to SF, but if not, we’d LOVE to see you in Sacramento!

  • Mary Bright says:

Sounds like a great trip. I’ve been following the edventure project blog for a while now and I’m dreaming of taking an epic adventure like that someday with my family. If you are going through northern Missouri and need a place to pitch your tents, we have 13 acres to spread out on. And a pond to fish in.

    • jenn_miller says:

Thanks Mary! Great to know you’ve been following for a while! We love “old friends” and we REALLY love meeting people in the real world. I’ll definitely keep you in mind as I work on the route in the coming weeks!

  • Rebeca says:

Since you’re coming to Oregon, you should see Crater Lake and the Redwoods in Northern CA. Sounds like an amazing trip. Oh, and visit us in Eugene!

    • jenn_miller says:

We’d LOVE to meet you Rebeca! We’re going to see so many cool things… the redwoods are a MUST for me… I’ve never seen ‘em!

      • Lois says:

I didn’t realize you’d never seen the Redwoods Jenn! You’re gonna LOVE them!!! So quiet, peaceful, majestic & introspective, one of my favorite places in the whole world. When we bought our little farm here in NH, I was thrilled to find that a redwood had been planted on the property. In just 5 short years it has almost tripled in height!

  • Deb says:

Um….you guys ARE going to crash here for awhile, yes? :) Can’t wait to meet the Wood crew!

  • Montalvo says:

Yellowstone! Makin’ a mental note over here!! Boise Idaho is even closer……………but…………..what’s in Boise Idaho? LOL Oh yeah…………..The Mama Bus people that’s who.

  • Montalvo says:

Actually………..Boise is not closer. *sigh* Geography. Yellowstone it is!!

  • Can’t wait to see the Carlsbad Caverns!!!!

  • Tonia Yosten says:

I am soooo excited to be a part of the Grants Pass, OR leg of THE TRIP! Looking forward to meeting your family Lois and can’t wait for you to meet mine. We will have a bunch of fun!

  • Louise says:

On your way from Boise to Eugene, you really need to scoop down to Crater Lake National Park. Nothing like it anywhere in the world! A definite must see.
