Now that the trip is in our rearview mirror, you might be wondering,
“What will happen to The Mama Bus.com now?”
The good news is that we’ve decided to continue the blog. Jenn already has The Edventure Project, and is the editor for Uncommon Childhood, so the most natural thing was for Lois to take over writing The Mama Bus. Jenn will still write now & then, but for the most part, it’ll be Lois.
So is the adventure over?
Absolutely not! Life with 7 kids is a constant adventure… add in one crazy dog, a whole flock of chickens, and plans to add more farm animals in the near future…let’s just say that it’s never boring around here. There will be weekend trips, Winterpalooza, Camp Wood, and the never-ending excitement that comes with kids, homeschooling & farm life.
But what about travel?
Sure! So far, we’re planning some weekend adventures, and a big trip in 2013…You’ll have to stay tuned to see where we’re going!
Jenn & I are polar opposites, yet very much alike. She’s tall & brunette, I’m short & blonde, she’s goes far & wide, I’m driving roots deep. But in ways that really matter, we’re the same kind of Mama. We both share a zest for life, learning, and sharing with others. And of course we both love a good cup of tea! Long ago we agreed on the term “like-hearted”. Our families have many of the same goals, but different ways of achieving them. It’s amazing to me how over the years, as the Millers traveled, the miles never really separate us and when we meet back up again it’s like no time at all has passed.

You two are a blast to be with. I am so honored to be able to meet you IRL on your first adventure!
I love you much, Sister! I’m so excited that you’re going to continue the story on here… lemme know how I can help!! I’ll make tea and buy you hats… how’s that for starters?!
